![]() I know this is lame and vague, but the Erebus really does have that "special something" about the sound. (And the fact it has a very noisy volume knob and i do not want to give it away for like a few bucks.) To be honest, the only reason i still have it is the hope it eventually will grow on me. I feel like the Brutes sound is mainly aggressive and therefor has a somewhat narrow usecase. I KNOW what amazing sounds people can get out of the Brute, but it just does not resonate with me. Soundwise i much prefer the Logue over the Brute. For background, i basically am still an noob, i started about a year ago and got myself so far a Monologue, a Microbrute and a Streichfett. ![]() I would like to know what synth you would go for and why. But i can't find that many jams with it on YT, so it's a bit risky. The Neutron would be an interesting experiment and at that pricepoint it is a bargain. The M32's sound is also great and i can absolutely see myself getting a second M32 and a DFAM at some point. I love the sound people on YT get out of it. Soundwise, i think the Erebus is just amazing. The options quickly boiled down to these three synths, but deciding on one is quite challenging. I am craving for a new synth and would like to explore the (semi-) modular world some more.
